Stop-motion video

For a decade + I have been creating short videos of my pieces as they are created. Most often I employ stop-motion, which is painting a bit, stopping, and manually hitting the shutter to capture the changes. Less often I use a time-lapse technique, in which I set up a camera to automatically take shots as I work. Either way, the process is captured, and after sequencing the images, the result is a detailed documentation of the art being made, layer by layer.
